Lavender/Lemon Drop Cocktail

Lavender is such a versatile little herb! We use it in a lot of our sweet treats. Here is a Cocktail that will sure to please and is so fun to make and pretty to look at! For you teetotalers, a mock-tail version is also included! Cheers!

Lavender/Lemon Drop Cocktail 

• 1 oz Lavender Rich Syrup

• 1 tsp Lavender Extract 

• 2 ounces vodka

• 1 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice

• 1 once triple sec (optional)

• 1 tablespoon lemon zest mixed in with 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1 teaspoon culinary lavender herb ground well for glass rim.

• Lavender Pick for garnish

Wet rim of chilled glasses with lemon juice. Dip rim of glass into lemon zest, sugar and lavender herb mixture.

Add Lavender Rich Syrup, Vodka, lemon juice, lavender extract, and triple sec with some ice into a shaker and shake well. Pour drink into 2 chilled glasses. Throw in a Lavender Pick for garnish and enjoy.  Mocktail version delete vodka and add club soda instead, stir don’t shake. 10 min., makes 2 glasses.
