A Cake that is tart, sweet, slightly floral in one caramelized bite! Worth the time to put together! Let your creativity bloom!
Ingredients

5 large tart apples

1 â…“ cups sugar

3 large eggs
-
½ cup whole milk
-
2 tsp. Lavender extract
-
2 Tbs melted butter
-
1 cup all purpose flour

1 Tbs Dried Lavender Buds

1 Tbs cinnamon
-
2 tsp ginger
-
½ tsp nutmeg
-
dash of clove
-
½ tsp salt
Directions
Peel, core and thinly slice apples
Mix flour and all herbs and salt together
In another bowl whisk together milk, eggs, melted butter and sugar.
Combine dry ingredients and wet together. Pour over all sliced apples and gently toss together.
In greased loaf pan or a 9 inch circle spring form pan with a parchment sling, neatly fan coated apple slices evenly and build each layer until pan is full. Scrape any batter onto top of coated apples.
Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Cool completely and place in the refrigerator for at least an hour. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream
