Frequently asked questions
How do I warm him up? Original-size Xanders go into the microwave whole for 20 to 30 seconds — no need to take the pouch out. That gives you 20 minutes or more of soft warmth. (Only our XL Xanders need the pouch removed, because the full size won't fit.)
How do I clean him? Take the lavender pouch out of its pocket first — that's the only time you need to remove it. Hand wash the cover only. Air dry, then fluff with a soft brush once he's completely dry. If you use a dryer, air-dry or cool setting only — never heat.
How much does Xander Bunny weigh? About 1 lb — enough heft to feel comforting, light enough for little arms. Want more weight? The XL Xander Bunny is over 4 lbs.
Can the pouch be removed? Yes. It sits in a hidden velcro pocket and lifts out for washing. Replacement lavender pouches are available for $11.50.
Is Xander safe for kids? Yes — child-safe stuffing and stitching, tested against and passed ASTM safety requirements. Every original-size Xander is made to be safe from newborn. Never leave a newborn unattended with Xander or any packaging, and inspect frequently as you would with any plush.

I bought 2 bunny’s, one purple and one pink for my grandchildren for Christmas. They LOVE THEM. They both sleep with them and the little heart on the foot that glows in the dark is special. I was sort of hoping they would! Now I need one for me!

My son Xander joined Heaven at 17 1/2 months after a short battle of leukemia 7 years ago today. I found out about these Xander bunnies and immediately wanted one. I was not disappointed. The bunny is so so soft and smells like fresh lavender. It is very well made and is so cute! I warmed it up right before going to sleep and it really helped me relax with the warmth and the lavender scent and put me right to sleep.
