A Field of Calm: My Journey from Lavender Life Farm to My Morning Cup of Tea

If you've never visited a lavender farm, you're in for a real treat!  And if you've never experienced lavender-infused food, drinks and products, the Lavender Life Company farm in Caledonia, Michigan is one place to put on your bucket list! From my first visit to my first online order arrival, here's my experience and what you can expect! The Lavender Life Farm Experience Coming from Chicago, who knew such a dreamy place existed, where time seemed to slow down and the air was fresh with lavender.  Being a few hours away, gave our family some fun road trip time as well! As we arrived on the property, a wave of serenity hit me instantly. We were greeted with such warmth by everyone, and the ambiance of it all drew us in and right to the patio.  There, we took a second to just bask in the presence of such a vibrant and scenic view. We were kindly approached by a lovely team member who invited us to help ourselves to some fresh homemade lavender lemonade and our own personal charcuterie board. My favorite piece from the charcuterie board was definitely the lavender fudge. Imagine biting into lavender fudge while looking out upon the fields of lavender where the wind carries the fresh lavender aroma over the earth. It was a moment I savored! Hand-picking Lavender Coming from someone who loves to practice mindfulness, this next activity was my favorite because I got to practice just that while handpicking our very own lavender bundles. I could not be happier! I had no idea where to start. I quickly learned that there were different types of lavender and that they each smelled uniquely different. I was happy to have completed my mini bundle and chose a white ribbon to tie around it. Knowing I was bringing home a piece of this whole experience really topped off the trip!
