Frequently Asked Questions — Dried Lavender Buds
What are lavender buds used for?
Lavender buds are the dried flower heads of the lavender plant. They're used in cooking, baking, aromatherapy, DIY sachets, bath soaks, and craft projects. Our culinary-grade dried lavender buds are safe to consume and potent enough for all craft and aromatherapy uses.
What is the difference between culinary and regular dried lavender?
Culinary lavender buds are grown without pesticides and processed to food-safe standards. All of our dried lavender is grown on our Michigan farm and is suitable for both culinary and non-culinary uses.
How do you store dried lavender buds?
Store dried lavender in an airtight container away from direct sunlight and heat. Properly stored, lavender buds retain their fragrance and potency for 1–2 years.
Can I use dried lavender in cooking?
Yes — our culinary lavender buds are perfect for baking, beverages, and savory dishes. Use sparingly (1/4 the amount of rosemary) as lavender has a strong, floral flavor. Great in shortbread, honey, lemonade, and herb blends.

Adorable XL Xander Dog
This makes my second XL Xander dog that I named Blue and he is just as adorable as the pink one I got, Rosie. They are such an adorable pair and he’s just as snuggly as Rosie is. Blue makes my 5th Xander friend in total as I also have two of the regular size bunnies and one of the regular sized cats. I also would like to add how helpful and caring this company is to work with. Vickie and Ruth both have been so extremely helpful and that is always appreciated!! I can’t wait until my next order!! Thank you guys so much!! ☺️
