Our classic comfort stuffed cat is safe from newborn, and just as good for toddlers and kids of any age.
Simply warm the cat in the microwave for 20 seconds to get 20 minutes or more of soothing warmth. Original-size Xanders go in whole — no need to take the pouch out.
You can also set Xander in the sunshine to recharge the glow-in-the-dark heart on his paw! Plus, hand wash him to keep him clean and fluffy.

- Take the pouch out before washing — that is the only time you need to remove it. Hand wash the outer cover only. Air dry, then fluff with a soft brush once he is completely dry. If you use a dryer, air-dry or cool setting only — never heat.

I just want to say how much I love my little black Xander cat that I received in the mail today. This baby is extra special to me because she looks just like my little kitten Coco, who is black also and I love everything about her. I love her whiskers. I think her eyes are adorable. Hey so I’m not an actual customer but i received the Xander bunny for my daughter and I fell in love with it so much that I don’t even want to give it to my daughter lol . The lavender scent is so calming . And I love the fact that every bear purchased a bear is sent to a foster kid in a foster home and when I was in dcf ( department of children and families) I would’ve loved to have one of these because of the trauma I was enduring so I know this will help a lot of kids especially ones in the same situation as I was

Surprising side effect was my senior cat loves Xander Cat and the bag she came in. Cuddles next to it every day! Cat is super soft! I really appreciate any product that uses some of the profits to help change someone's life for the good. Kids going into foster care often feel like "throw aways" and having a friend like these plush toys to hug has to be a big help.

Our four-year-old loves it:) The softest buddy I've ever felt. You can tell much thought and creativity went into the design of it. It's a perfect buddy that has accompanied her to multiple places. I also feel she falls asleep earlier and sleeps more soundly with it. I love the thought you can hand wash the outer surface. I also love the smell of the lavender, it filled the room with the lavender scent when she slightly moved it ( makes us think of when we walked through your lavender fields when there was a slight breeze and we caught the light scent in the air. ) The discovery of charging up the glow in the dark heart that's on the foot, can be done by placing it out in the sun, was a good tip. I was diagnosed with cancer right before Christmas. With that I have been spending a good amount of time from home. I got Midnight Xander to feel closer to my cats, plus the great lavender scent helped me sleep at the hotel before another surgery. I have included a photo of my Turkey. The Xander cat Facebook ads kept getting to me so I made a poll on my Twitter dot com and my followers unanimously voted yes for me to buy him. So I did. And I have zero regrets! He is fun to stroke and pet and smelling him brings great comfort. Warming him up is also the best because he is a good companion for when I have cramps or need a warm hug. I also love running my fingers on his feet. Super cute buddy!

The aroma is very nice but I was very surprised and disappointed that an item intended to be snuggled to help with relaxation and sleep has long, prickly plastic like whiskers. Scratchy and hazard for little eyes. The material of the cat body is soft and pleasant. I think the overall appearance would be much improved if the eyes were more friendly and comforting instead of looking like a panicked cartoon character. I did not give either cat to intended children but rather brought to Goodwill.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We apologize for any disappointment or inconvenience caused by the long, prickly whiskers and cartoonish eyes on our Xander Cat. I have never had this complaint before and have only ever had positive comments about our cat. I know it is too late now, but our customer service would have been happy to exchange it for a different animal or provide a return label and full refund. We offer a generous 30 day guarantee on our products.
