Homemade Chocolate Lavender Truffles! Yum! The recipe comes just in time for Valentine’s Day and can be easily made in your own kitchen.
Your Lovies will enjoy this even more knowing you made them. And ... did I mention they are delicious? Here is the recipe.
- 8 oz. Dark Chocolate 72% or higher
- 1/2 C of Heavy Cream
- 1/8 tsp Lavender Herb
- 1 tsp Lavender Infused Honey
- 2 Tbs. Lavender/Vanilla Extract
Finely chop the dark chocolate and pour piping hot simmered heavy cream over it. Let set until melted. Stir in herb, honey and extract. Place in the refrigerator for a 1/2 hour.
Once ganache is firm, roll into 1.5 inch size balls and coat with your favorite topping. Ideas for coating could be: sweetened coconut flakes, chopped nuts, cocoa powder. If you are brave, dip them in melted chocolate! I used ruby chocolate in the photo. Makes about a dozen truffles.
